About MyBMH

What is MyBMH

MyBMH is a secure, digital tool you can use to store, document and access health and medical information. Also called a patient portal, it provides access to portions of your Beaufort Memorial Hospital medical records and accepts user-entered data including prescriptions, immunizations and more. It’s private, secure and accessible via the Internet at www.mybmh.org. Want to learn more about using MyBMH or see how easy it is to register your account? Watch this two-minute video.

Who can use it?

MyBMH is available to current Beaufort Memorial patients, age 18 or older. If you’ve never been a patient but think you may be in the future, you will be able to join in an upcoming enrollment.

What can I do with it?

The list of things you can do with MyBMH will grow in phases. Tasks you can do right now include:

  • Set up and populate your personal health record.
  • View your discharge summary in Beaufort Memorial’s electronic medical record system.
  • View laboratory test results or imaging reports conducted after July 15, 2014.
  • Receive secure messages from Beaufort Memorial care providers.
  • Pay hospital bills online.
  • Access trusted health information resources.

Is there a cost?

No. MyBMH is a free service provided by Beaufort Memorial.

Is my information secure?

Beaufort Memorial takes great care to ensure your health information is private and secure. Your identity must be verified before you are given a personal identification number (PIN) or enrollment code to access to your medical record. Access to information is controlled through the secure PIN (or enrollment code), personal username, and password. You control your own password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Unlike conventional email, all MyBMH messaging is done while you are securely logged on to the system. Patient information is stored in a secure data center, not on the public Internet.

Who can access my record?

Some of the information in your MyBMH account is provided through your Beaufort Memorial medical record. If you share your username and password with anyone, they will be able to log in and view your information.

Your code/PIN is valid for 90 days.

If you do not register within 90 days it will expire and you will need to contact our support team to receive a new one.
